Pho Yen Mechanical Joint Stock Company (FOMECO) was established on October 19, 1974, under Decision No. 283/QD/TCNSDT of the Ministry of Heavy Industry, now is a member of Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation (Ministry of Industry)

          In 1996 was renamed the Pho Yen mechanical plant belong to Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporration (VEAM) under Decision No.: 40/QD-TCCB dated 06/01/1996 of the Ministry of Industry.

          On 04/2002 renamed Pho Yen Mechanical Company.  In 2003, the company converted to Pho Yen mechanical joint stock company under Decision No.215/2003/QD-BCN dated 12/12/2003 of the Ministry of Industry.

             So far, the company has received many awards presented by the State, the customers, and local authorities where it performs its operation.

-         The “Lao dong” Metal (Second rank).

-         The “Doc lap” Medal (Third rank).

-         ISO Gold Cup of Ministry of Technology.

-         Gold Lotus Cup of Ministry if Industry and Trade.

-         The Leading Quality Cup of Honda Vietnam.

-         Quality management system – ISO 9001: 2008

-         Environmental management system – ISO 14001: 2004
